Currently the leading wind energy producer in Southeast Asia and the world’s second geothermal energy producer - moving towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy path is a likely reality for the country. WWF-Philippines recognizes the country’s large capacity for an improved power sector to pursue WWF’s 100% renewable energy vision, in the hopes of altering the way people see development by diversifying the Philippine energy mix and strategically altering the current over-reliance on fossil fuels. |
