JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general direction of the IDP Manager, the IDP Officer will identify opportunities, plan and execute multi-channel (online and offline) fundraising campaigns and/or events to increase donor giving. S/he is responsible for managing peer-to-peer fundraising, employee giving, and digital fundraising events - related activities and communications including advertising and promotions, working with various units and teams to build brand awareness, acquire and engage donors, and achieve income targets. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Digital Fundraising Campaigns/ Events: Identify, plan and execute marketing events and digital fundraising campaigns including but not limited to Virtual Runs, Fundraising Gala, Digital Fundraising Hour, and Charity Livestream Fundraising which engage WWF-Philippines Ambassadors and Influencers, to increase online donations (one-time and recurring). 
  2. Digital Fundraising Platforms: 
    • Develop and implement WWF-Philippines’ digital fundraising strategies and activities with the objective of expanding reach, and increasing income, number of gifts and new donors to ensure that objectives and financial targets are met. 
    • Support the optimization of WWF-Philippines donation platforms including but not  limited to Simply Giving, Streamlabs, and Global Giving, and enhance search engine marketing and donation process, in collaboration with the 
      Communications Team. 
    • Recommend opportunities and increase the effectiveness of digital fundraising through consistent monitoring of performance and analysis of channels, tools,  data, and trends to identify new growth potential.
    • Test digital fundraising strategies to determine the best approach for donor acquisition and retention. 
    • Recommend and implement new and innovative ways to donate, other approaches to improve the acquisition of digital donors (one-time and recurring), and process improvements as necessary. 
    • Maintain and update all digital fundraising channels and align content with WWF Philippines’ communications and advocacy campaigns, working in collaboration with the Communications Team. 
    • Manage and maintain third-party systems for digital fundraising such as Simply  Giving, Streamlabs, Global Giving etc. 
  3. Employee Giving Program: Develop and implement the Employee Giving Program by tapping existing and new corporate partners to engage their employees in donor giving
  4. Peer-to-Peer Fundraising: Plan and execute peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns to increase donations. Ensure that the donation platforms perform effectively and identify and implement necessary improvements and/or new and innovative ways to donate.
  5. Assist the IDP Assistant Manager in creating content for digital campaigns
  6. Actively contribute to discussions and meetings, as well as in decision-making regarding issues linked to the overall fundraising objectives of WWF-Philippines.
  7. Perform other duties as required. 

THIS POST SHOULD

  • Keep the IDP Manager and IDP Assistant Manager informed of performance, task accomplishment, issues and status. 
  • Coordinate with the IDP Manager and IDP Assistant Manager to determine strategies to meet targets, new donor objectives, monthly income targets, and financial requirements, and identify risks and means to mitigate risks. 
  • Establish and implement tracking procedures and generate monthly reports on productivity – to analyze weaknesses and lessons, and report to management regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with WWF policies, values, ethical and legal frameworks.
